Dream to Reality for Snoqualmie Couple: Pineapple Life throws Huge Community Grand Opening event

In November we told you that a new, large yoga studio was coming to Snoqualmie. At the time the owners, Brandi and Brian Cohen, hoped to have Pineapple Life open in the spring, but construction took a quite a bit longer than anticipated.

Tearing down walls, reworking the floor plan (turning two retail spots into one), building a wall out of Himalayan salt bricks and adding lots of infrastructure upgrades like infrared heating systems and an LED light system to light up that salt wall takes time

But they’re in the home stretch now…. a stretch that is requiring some late nights to get the final touches finished on the interior before a massive community Grand Opening party happens on Saturday, July 28th.

When we say massive grand opening party, we mean just that. Pineapple Life will be taking over the lower field at Snoqualmie Community Park, bringing in bouncey houses, a fashion show, music, food, a beer garden, and more. All of this just to say ‘We’re Here and We’re Open.’ Oh, and you can also tour the new studio and take free classes. Pineapple Life says it will feel reminiscent of the 4th of July festivities in Snoqualmie. It runs from 1PM to 11PM.

We toured the interior recently and although it is not quite completed, it was evident a lot of thought and effort went into creating a zen-like space.

Yoga instructor Candice Slabbert said, “When you enter we want you to feel like you’re in a spa.”

The new 2,500 sq. ft. studio includes a barre room and a yoga room where the large Himalayan salt wall lights up. They also added a lighting system that creates the illusion of sunrise and sunset. The room can heat up quickly for hot yoga classes and then cool for regular classes. There are also private saunas and a child care room.

Pineapple Life plans to open two more locations – in Kirkland and Issaquah…. evidence of how serious the Cohens are about their passion to bring health and wellness studios to communities around the Eastside.
