Downtown North Bend’s Sip, Suds & Si Returns May 9 with Art, Music, Tastings and Shopping

North Bend’s popular Sip, Suds & Si walk returns to downtown on Saturday, May 9, bringing shopping, dining, wine and beer tasting to local storefronts for a special evening event from 6 to 9 p.m. Local businesses will welcome the community in for an evening of local artists, live music and a lively downtown atmosphere.

“Events like this create real, visible impact, bringing more people downtown, boosting local businesses & adding to the energy and vibrancy you can feel every time you visit,“ said North Bend Downtown Foundation Executive Director Jessica Self. Proceeds benefit foundation programs, beautification initiatives and downtown projects.

The event is free to attend, with the art, music and shopping walk open to all ages. Tasting tickets for wine, beer and spirits are available for those 21 and older and require age verification at the door. All wine bottle purchases during the event are tax-free.

Participating venues include Main Street Pilates, Scott Rinckenberger Gallery, Friends & Co Ice Cream, Pet Place Market, North Bend Trading Co, Birch’s Habitat, Falling River Meats, Snoqualmie Valley Real Estate, Erika Laureano Design and DT Vintage & More.

Over 200 attendees are expected. Check-in opens at 5 p.m. at the North Bend Train Depot, located at 205 E McClellan Street. City streets will remain open during the event, with participants using sidewalks and crosswalks as they move between venues.

Tasting tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Tickets and event information are available at northbenddowntown.org.
