Washington State Patrol (WSP) Detectives are seeking witnesses to a hit and run, injury collision that occurred on Thursday, August 27, 2015 on WB I-90/SR 900 near Issaquah.
WSP says according to witnesses, at approximately 9:35PM, the victims, who were traveling in the HOV lane on a motorcycle, were struck by a maroon, mid-1990’s passenger vehicle – possibly a Honda or Toyota.
The suspect vehicle struck the motorcycle while passing on the left shoulder of the highway and should have damage to the right rear door and right rear quarter panel.
The collision caused both motorcycle riders to be ejected and suffer serious injuries, with the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene at a very high-rate of speed. Witnesses last observed the vehicle on WB I-90 approaching Bellevue.
