County to repair damaged Snoqualmie River levee near downtown North Bend

The City of North Bend announced that the King County Flood Control District will be repairing 300 feet of damaged levee along the right bank of the South Fork Snoqualmie River between SR 202 and North Bend Way.

The project start date was moved up, with the repair work now starting on Wednesday, August 29th. The project anticipated to take up to four weeks.

The city said the levee being repaired protects SR 202, North Bend Way, local streets, businesses and residences from flooding.

Construction hours are Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM.
