Outdoor summer concerts in our own Snoqualmie Valley backyard. How did I not know? Especially when the backdrop for the concerts is one of my favorite places, Snoqualmie Falls?
The last performance in the Salish Lodge’s summer concert series, Music on the Green, happens this Thursday, August 14, 2014, featuring Seattle-based artist, Kris Orlowski.
In the wake of three well-received EP’s and touring the country, Kris Orlowski recently released its first full-length album, Believer, in April. Orlowski’s music has also been featured on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. Grey’s Anatomy is known for featuring great music and helping spur musical careers during its 10-year TV run.
Music the Green Summer Concert Series
The Salish Lodge launched Music on the Green in summer 2013. Maximum capacity for each show is just 200, which provides audience members a unique, intimate concert experience on the Lodge’s Centennial Green, with Snoqualmie Falls as the backdrop.
Tickets run $125 per pair and include a picnic blanket, gourmet picnic tote for two with a bottle of wine and some Salish food. The concert area also features a beverage garden where (Northwest) wine and local beers can be purchased. Tickets also include 25% discount at The Attic at the Salish Lodge for concert-goers who want dinner before/after the event.
Spots on the lawn can be reserved starting at 6PM when the gates open, with the music starting at 7:30PM. Attendees must be 21 years or older. Shows happen rain or shine. Picnic blankets are weather resistant and rain ponchos are given out if needed.
