It’s that time of year again – even if it doesn’t feel like it thanks to Mother Nature’s insistence on keep in cool, raining and gray.
Local farmers markets are starting to reopen, showcasing the farmers of the Snoqualmie Valley. First out of the gate this year is the popular Carnation Farmers Market.
You can join merchants at the opening day of the Carnation Farmers Market 2017 season – on Tuesday, May 2nd.
The Carnation Farmers Market is a Tuesday afternoon market, running weekly from May to October from 3 – 7pm. It’s located right in the heart of downtown Carnation at Bird Street and Stossel Ave.
The market focuses on local food and sustainability, hosting many farmers and food artisans from the Snoqualmie Valley – and from the rest of Washington State.
Events to celebrate this season will include the annual Maypole dance, market tours, free plant starts giveaway, and flower wreath making. The Poindexters will be performing at the Music on the Grass series,
