Car Collision in Duvall Injures Two and Claims One Life Monday Evening

UPDATE: The dog, thought to be missing, was found safe at the towing company.

At approximately 7:08 PM, Monday, March 28th, two people were injured, and one person died on SR203 in Duvall.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a 53-year-old female (vehicle one) was traveling southbound on SR203 at milepost 17 (288th Ave NE) when the car crossed the center line into the northbound lanes.

A 41-year-old male driver with an 18-year-old passenger (vehicle two) traveling in the northbound lanes crossed into the southbound lanes to avoid a collision with vehicle one.

Vehicle one then crossed back into the southbound lanes hitting vehicle two head-on.

The driver of vehicle one, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene, and both passengers of vehicle two were injured.

The driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, and the passenger was taken to Providence Everett Hospital.

According to social media, vehicle one carried a Chihuahua that is now missing. If seen, please do not chase, whistle or call out but contact the administrator of the Lost Dogs of King County Facebook page.
