Bye-bye bumps: County to begin repaving Mt Si Road next week

Some North Bend residents are about to see some needed road repairs begin on Mt. Si Road.

King County Road Services Division will start paving work on a three-mile stretch of SE Mt Si Road beginning Monday, April 30th at 8AM.

The work will begin just east of Mt. Si Bridge and run to just east of 480th Ave SE. The work will require lane restrictions and closures of some road sections.  The project is also weather dependent.

The work will happen Monday through Friday and run from 8AM to 5PM.  Paving work is expected to last until Friday, May 25th.
