Busy evening for firefighters: rescue injured mountain biker on Raging River Trail, fire in North Bend

Around 6:30PM, June 26, 2018 Eastside and Snoqualmie Fire crews responded to the I-90 exit 27 area near Snoqualmie to help an injured mountain biker.

The male biker in his 20’s was about 8-miles up and south of Rattlesnake Mountain – on the Raging River Mountain Bike Trail -when the accident occurred.

Emergency crews used old logging roads to access the man who reportedly had rib injuries.

He was transported out of the wooded area to SR 18 near 104th where Bellevue Medics then took him to Harborview Medical Center.

According to Snoqualmie Fire Chief Mark Correira, the man’s injuries were non-life threatening.

While the trail rescue was occurring, Eastside Fire & Rescue also had crews responding to a house fire on Riverside Drive in North Bend.

According to EF&R social media reports, the fire started in the garage and was quickly knocked down.
