Business Comings: Sanctuary has its Grand Opening in North Bend

Stacie Beam-Bruce and Stacy Worley met 3 years ago at a function in Seattle called Sacred Supper, a gathering for spiritually-minded women.

The meeting was completely random, not something Bruce typically goes to, but this time she went because of the guest speaker and Worley went to support a friend who was organizing it.

Bruce, a psychotherapist from the Snoqualmie Valley, and Worley, a Yoga teacher/Astrologer from Lincoln City, Oregon, hit it off instantly. The similarly named pair exchanged snarky comments, talked politics, laughed over nothing and cried their way through old aches.

Even though miles separated them, they were creating workshops that led to retreats a handful of months later.

The two collaborated at a distance for 3 years, teaching and facilitating healing workshops and women’s retreats. Soon their families were part of this evolution: traveling between states, sharing space, merging weekends and holidays.

When COVID hit, Worley’s husband retired from dentistry, allowing them to move to the valley so the two women could expand their vision.

Sharon Hockenbury’s  Twin Peaks Nutrition and Wellness is just around the corner from Bruce’s North Bend office, and for years they have cross-referred people to each other.  In talking with Sharon, the three connected on a common vision to create a space for Whole Health in the community – mental, physical, emotional, spiritual.

When the time was right, Hockenbury offered to sublease and collaborate on their vision, and Sanctuary was born.

Now you can join Bruce and Worley July 5th-10th for a weeklong celebration of #allthethings related to holistic self-care, conscious community, and fresh beginnings at their new store and studio in North Bend.

You can experience a wide range of yoga and mindfulness classes, stock up on self-care staples for your home and office and discover how Sanctuary is here to help you nurture and nourish your ongoing physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing every day and all year.

For their grand opening, Sanctuary is offering Self-Care Grab Bag at your first class. Or, if you are ready to dive all the way in, you can sign up for a Sanctuary Membership and be entered to win one of three grand prizes a yoga mat, mala, or chakra blend essential oil set.

Get a 50% discount on drop in-classes or treat yourself to a week of self-care and savings with a Grand Opening All-Class Pass that allows you to sample all their classes. They have different types of Yoga classes, Zumba, Psycho-Spiritual Talk with Meditation (called talks on being human), and a special Pilates with Sound Bath option rounding out the week.

Please stop by this week for their grand opening between 11 and 5 to meet the Stacies and check out Sanctuary at 111 W. North Bend Way. They can’t wait to see you!
