Bring on the Pancakes: Snoqualmie Firefighters ready to make you Breakfast during Railroad Days Fundraiser

One of the most popular Railroad Days events that draws hundreds of hungry residents – The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association’s annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser – is back!

Kick-off the Railroad Days weekend by heading to the Snoqualmie Fire Station between 7am-11am on Saturday August 18th to meet your locals firefighters and EMTs and take place in the raffle/silent auction, all while enjoying a pancake breakfast!

In addition to the ham and pancake breakfast, there will also be Krispy Kreme donuts, Starbucks coffee, OJ, and other beverages.

The event costs $5 for adults, $3 for kids (5-12 y/o), and kids under 5 y/o eat for free. There will be a raffle ($2 per ticket) for items under $100 that have been donated from local businesses, and a silent auction for the larger items. There are some really exciting items up for auction this year, including: a golfing foursome at TPC, a deluxe overnight
stay for two at the Salish Lodge with country breakfast included, a half-day rally experience at DirtFish Rally School, as well as many other donations and gift certificates from local restaurant, spas, and businesses.

All the money raised at this event go to the Snoqualmie Firefighters Association, a nonprofit group that helps support the Snoqualmie Fire Department special equipment purchases, as well as community events, public safety & fire education, human services assistance during emergency situations, high school educational scholarships in the health & fire sciences, historic preservation and maintenance of Snoqualmie’s original Engine 1, and charitable organizations within our community.

This year’s breakfast is continuing the Snoqualmie Firefighters Association’s commitment to going green, so they are once again partnering with Waste Management with the goal of a Zero Waste Event. All items used at this event will be recyclable or compostable only.

Stop by to join in on the fun. Kids can take advantage of great photo opportunities with firefighters and emergency vehicles. There will also be bike helmets and t-shirts available for purchase.

The Fire Station is located at 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway and the breakfast is served in the apparatus and equipment bay.
