Boo! Cool Halloween Happenings In The Valley This Weekend

If you are looking for some Halloween fun over the weekend here are some events to consider…

For The Kids:

10/30 & 10/31 – Ride the Halloween Train at the Snoqualmie Depot. See the historic depot decorated for the harvest season.  Listen to live music and watch an old-fashioned cider press in action.  Try some hot apple cider and make a keepsake craft. Come in costume and receive $2 off your ticket and a prize!  Trains depart every hour beginning at 11:01AM from the Snoqualmie Depot and 11:26 from the North Bend Depot.  Roundtrip fares:  $4 kids ages 2-12, $8 adults and $6 age 62 and up.

~   Friday, October 29th, 4 – 8PM,  MSHS Choir Teeny Weeny Halloweeny.  In MSHS Wildcat Court.  Kids ages 1 – 10 can enjoy Halloween crafts, Haunted House, games and treats and a costume contest.  Admission is $5.  All proceeds support MSHS Choir

Friday, October 29th, 10AM – 1PM, Historic Snoqualmie Treat Harvest.  Show your costume and gather treats.  For kids 5 and under.  Look for balloons at participating merchants in the historic business core!

~ Saturday, October 30th, 6:30 – 8:30PM,  Si View Community Center Haunted House.  Admission is $3.  Prepare to be scared!

Saturday, October 30th, 1 – 4PM,  Snoqualmie Ridge Town Center Trick or Treat Event.  Come in costume and start at Halloween headquarters located at 7815 Center Blvd – across from library.  Pick up a Halloween passport and pass through Happy Halloween Hallway – appropriate for all ages.  Participants get their passports stamped at local business along with fun treats.  Collect 10 stamps and enter into a prize drawing.

For The Adults:

Saturday, October 30th, 11AM – 4PM, Puget Sound Blood Bank Blood Drive at Mix it Up! The mobile donation van will be accepting needed blood donations.  Honor the Twilight vampire craze and consider giving a pint!  Each person who makes an appointment and completes the screening interview receives a free pint of ice cream.  Childcare provided inside Mix it Up.  Sign up for an appointment inside  store or call 425-396-3020.

Saturday, October 30th, 9PM – 1AM, Halloween Party with The Po’okela Street Band at Finaghty’s Irish Pub.  Enjoy the live music and a costume contest.

Last but not least… make sure you have your candy stocked up.  Snoqualmie Ridge is a popular, local trick or treating destination.  If you live on a main street – Douglas, Fairway, Ridge – expect a couple hundred costumed cuties!
