Black Dog Arts Cafe & Coalition, Bringing Arts Culture to the Valley; Undead Art Auction this Weekend

Have you tried the Black Dog Arts Cafe? If not, it’s more than you might have been expecting…. more than just good food Black Dog cafe(vegan and vegetarian) … rooted in the love of art – and a fun place to hear live music on Wednesday’s Open Mic Night.

Per its Facebook description, the quaint and comfy Black Dog Arts Cafe on Railroad Ave in downtown Snoqualmie has a “mission is to serve healthy handcrafted food in an environment that promotes and supports the arts, waging culture and peace in our community.”

This weekend the cafe is hosting an auction to support The Black Dog Arts Coalition (BDAC), and arm of the cafe which works to nurture, encourage and support artistic expression and education in to help create a rich arts culture in the Snoqualmie Valley.

The event – the Undead Art Auction happens at the Black Dog Arts Café, 8062 Railroad Ave, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 6PM-10PM.  There’s optional dinner and drinks with live music that begins that starts at  7PM.

Donated pieces from local artists will be auctioned off.  So just grab a bidding number and check out the artwork until the auction kicks off at 8PM. Organizers also welcome attendees to dress up as one of their favorite dead persons – which should make for a vibrant evening.

All proceeds benefit the Black Dog Arts Coalition, which supports many forms of artistic expression including form music, BDAC CD’s, Literature, Dance, Theatre, Film, Fine Art, Craft, Photography, Poetry, Chap Books, Guest Speakers, Workshops and Art Fairs.

November 7th from 1PM-4PM Pottery Workshop with Sam Sinanan.  Open to families  Cost: $10. Pick up work 2 weeks after on November 22nd from 11AM-1PM at The Black Dog Arts Café.  Event sponsored by The Black Dog Arts Coalition.

November 20th from 3PM-8PM  Artisan Fair.  Local Artists and Crafters will sell their goods at The Black Dog Arts Café’.  Find unique holiday and home gifts.  Support the Arts, and local artists.
