Apparent Road Rage Incident Begins Near North Bend, Ends in Two Car Rollover Accident Near Issaquah

An apparent two car road rage incident began around 6:30PM, January 15, 2014, on I-90 near North Bend and ended near West Lake Sammamish Parkway when both vehicles collided and rolled over, landing in the freeway median.

Multiple drivers called 911 Wednesday night to report two vehicles ramming into each other while traveling at very high speeds westbound on I-90 – for a total of about 10 miles.

Washington State Patrol said it’s investigating the accident as road rage and booked both drivers into jail, including one North Bend man and one Bellevue man.

KOMO News reported a Ford Explorer and Ford Freestar were involved in the incident. One lane of I-90 was closed during the 4-hour evening investigation.

Luckily, the passengers in one of the vehicles, a woman and small child, escaped unharmed.
