Ana's Mexican Restaurant Closing… But Only For a Two Week Remodel/Expansion

It’s been nearly six years since Anna Sotelo closed her Mexican restaurant on Mercer Island and relocated her life, family and business to the Snoqualmie Valley.

In honor of the five year milestone, Anna’s decided to expand the restaurant.  Starting on December 11th, Ana’s Family Style Mexican Restaurant will open it’s doors with nearly 1,000 more square feet, most of it in the form of a new, much larger bar area.

Owner Anna Sotelo says there will be a few tweaks to the original restaurant space as well.  The space currently used as the small bar will become a “high chair free” dining area as well as  a room for large group parties, like end of season sports teams gatherings.

Ana’s will close on Monday, November 26th so the expansion work can begin.  The restaurant will be taking over the empty retail space located directly next door, which will become the new bar.  The expanded bar will feature a new tapas style bar menu.

Patrons will be able to check out the new, expanded and slightly re-designed Ana’s Mexican Restaurant on December 11th  – just in time for Christmas.  For more information or to keep up with restaurant happenings you can visit their Facebook page.

Good Luck Anna!
