Albert Lee Appliance eyes North Bend for new retail sales, furniture distribution center

Last week the City of North Bend published a Notice of Application for a proposed new retail/warehouse facility for Albert Lee Appliance.

Albert Lee is proposing a 48,000 sq. foot warehouse distribution center located behind two 6,000 square foot retail buildings (each) along SE North Bend Way.

The proposed site in located between the Meadows Mobile Home Park and the Mt. Si Memorial Cemetery, east of North Bend’s historic downtown area.

The development proposal includes street frontage improvements, landscaping, parking, stormwater treatment and adherence to all applicable city codes.

According to the notice, staff will evaluate the application for consistency with and mitigation required pursuant to City of North Bend’s development regulations and policies, including the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, Municipal Code Chapter 14.04 (SEPA), Chapter 14.16 (Stormwater Management), Title 18 (Zoning), and Title 19 (Development Standards).

The public has until May 26th to comment on the project application. All public comments must be received in the North Bend Department of Community and Economic Development by May 26th at 4:30PM.

A SEPA Determination and 15-day comment period will also be completed for the project following the expiration of the 15-day Notice of Application public comment period.
