A Letter from the Snoqualmie Firefighters Association: Pancake Breakfast Cancelled for 2021

Dear wonderful and supportive residents of Snoqualmie:

For the past 20 years, we have thoroughly enjoyed serving the community through our annual Pancake Breakfast.

Snoqualmie Fire Station bays become a dining hall during the annual Snoqualmie Firefighters Railroad Days Pancake Breakfast held every August.

In the tradition of the Snoqualmie Volunteer Firefighters, who started the Railroad Days event (now organized by the Northwest Railway Museum), we have always looked forward to this weekend.

It is with deep regret that we will not be hosting a Pancake Breakfast this year.

We will, however, have a Railroad Days booth on Saturday, August 28. Be sure to stop by for: rig tours (who doesn’t want to see inside the fire engine!); safety information; a silent auction; and our beloved hose prop where kiddos can use the nozzle (we encourage that kids be masked and accompanied by an adult).

Typically, it takes us four to six months to plan an event of this magnitude. With the anticipated numbers and increasing attendance, we could not figure out a way to safely host the event in the short amount of time we had available.

Please join us in downtown Snoqualmie. We can’t wait to see you!

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Sara York

Snoqualmie Firefighters Association, President
