Business Comings | Hometown Credit Union Opening Two New Stand-Alone Branches

It appears some empty retail storefronts in North Bend and Snoqualmie will be seeing new business life and a new tenant… in fact, the same local tenant will soon occupy both spaces.

Sno Falls Credit Union announced Monday, December 28, 2015, via their Facebook page and website that they will be opening two, new stand-alone branches in North Bend and Snoqualmie.  The new locations will replace their current, smaller spots inside the Snoqualmie Ridge IGA and North Bend QFC.

In North Bend, the longtime Valley credit union will move to 320 Mt.Si Blvd in the Mountain Valley Shopping Center near Safeway. In Snoqualmie, they will move to 7726 Center Blvd SE – in the former MyCakes spot in the Snoqualmie Ridge retail area.

Sno Falls Credit Union President and CEO Tim Williams explained the company has spent the past year and a half solidifying their technology and product foundation and is now entering a growth phase. Williams said the move allows Sno Falls to be a full service financial cooperative in its branch locations, something difficult to do in small “in store” locations.

Both new locations are in their final stages of development and are slated to open in late January or early February 2016.

According to the announcement, the new full-service branch locations bring with them:

  • Full-service ATMs – make cash and check deposits 24/7, 365 days a year
  • New technologies – improves process efficiencies that result in streamlined member experiences
  • Reduced operational expensesallows us to return more benefits & enhanced services to our members
  • More privacy for member transactions
  • Easier access & parking

  • Unfortunately I almost never visit that “safeway” shopping center. There is really not much there of interest. I would not visit just for banking .. at all. Downtown North Bend is the only place I try to shop. Once a year to the outlet mall. .and maybe twice a year to Taco Time.. hmmm. .was thinking of a switch from evil b of a. but will have to check out other places in town.

    1. With Sno Falls CU’s new mobile app, you can deposit checks remotely, and visit a ton of other partner ATMs for free if you need to get cash. I hardly ever even need to go to an actual branch.
I’m impressed with all the advancements they are making. Still a way better choice than BofA, or any big bank I’ve ever tried.
