Singing Reindeer, Dancing Lights, Holiday Food Drive Tonight

While there’s a brief lull in the stream of storms that has taken aim at the Puget Sound region, there’s some holiday fun for a good cause happening in one North Bend neighborhood Friday, December 11, 2015.

SINGING REINDEER, DANCING LIGHTS AND MT. SI FOOD BANK Drive.

If you’d like to see a house decked out for the holidays – and complete with a singing reindeer and dancing lights –  then head to the Tanner Wood Development tonight!

Homeowner Alicia Messa and her family light their home up each year, but last year they decided to add a food drive component to help give back to the community.

Messa, a local real estate agent, active member of the Snoqualmie Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis and long time volunteer for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, said she enjoys finding new ways to give back – and since her light display often draws holiday light lovers to the neighborhood, her family decided to see if they could collect food for local families this holiday season.

Friday evening the family be out serving Krispy Kreme donuts, cookies and hot chocolate/apple cider for those who wish to come by and check out the lights and drop off your canned goods.

They also have a Mt Si Food Bank barrel on their front porch so community members can drop non-perishable food throughout the season.

The singing reindeer and dancing light show runs nightly – Friday and Saturday from 6PM – 10PM and Sunday – Thursday from 6PM – 8:30PM.

The Messa Home is located at 1730 Tannerwood Way SE in North Bend, which is off 140th near Twin Falls Middle School.

Here’s a little preview of Singing Rudolph.  Happy Holidays everyone!
