SR 202 Snoqualmie Falls Bridge Work Starts Monday, Expect Traffic Delays

Just as Snoqualmie Valley buses and kids head back to school, Monday, February 24, 2014, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is set to start some maintenance work on the SR 202 Bridge at Snoqualmie Falls.

WSDOT will bring in a large Vactor truck to wash/clean the heavily traveled two-lane bridge that connects the lower and upper Snoqualmie Valley via SR202.

The work is scheduled during the hours of 9AM-2PM and should last 4 to 5 days. The bridge will have only one lane open to traffic during the cleaning project.

WSDOT will have flag crews on each side of the bridge  to manage traffic flow, but they say to expect delays along SR 202 near Snoqualmie during the week of February 24th – February 28th.

If SR 202 is your route between Snoqualmie and the Fall City area – plan ahead and maybe add some extra time to your drive between the hours of 9AM – 2PM.
