Screen Shot 2013-01-14 at 11.24.11 AMDoes your child have a teacher, office staff member, bus driver who’s impacted their life in a positive way this year?  We all probably know one; that special teacher or classified staff member we brag about to our friends and family.

Well, it’s that time of year again; time to take a few minutes and nominate that teacher and/or staff member for the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation (SVSF) 2013 Educator of the Year Award.

SVSF Educator of the Year Nomination Guidelines:

1)  Nominate in 4 Categories

  • Elementary School
  • Middle School
  • High School
  • Classified Staff – custodian, food services, transportation, maintenance, office, etc.

2)  Anyone can nominate – parents, students, other educators or members of the community

3)  Find entry forms on the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation website.

Educator of the Year selection criteria include: inspiring students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn; having the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues; leading by example; and playing an active and useful role in the scholastic environment

Nomination packages must be postmarked by February 6, 2013.  An independent selection committee composed of community leaders will review nominations.  The winners will be notified by the first week of March and honored on March 28, 2013 at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation’s Annual Spring Luncheon.

Now… click the link and nominate a Snoqualmie Valley teacher, bus driver, “duty,” specialist, nurse, office worker, lunchroom worker, etc., etc., etc.
