Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank invites community to Tree Planting ceremony, Breath of Aire concert

The Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank has a couple of events coming up this week that the community is invited to attend.

Today – Wednesday, March 7th, at 12PM at SISTER CITIES PARK (behind Snoqualmie City Hall) there will be a special tree planting ceremony.

The SVFB Board of Directors will be presenting a pear tree to the Snoqualmie Community to commemorate their 5th anniversary and  gratitude for the outstanding support they’ve received from the community.

Then on Sunday, March 11 at 5PM, they welcome Breath of Aire for “an evening of entertainment and inspiration,” hosted by Cascade Covenant Church, 13225 436thAve SE in North Bend.

A freewill offering will be taken during the concert to benefit the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and Fall City Community Food Pantry.

In 2017, over $4000 was raised when Breath of Aire – a choir with members of a variety of musical backgrounds and “a fresh approach to choral music” – performed a similar concert.
