Snoqualmie offers Safe Drug Disposal for National Drug Take Back Day, April 29th

The Snoqualmie Police Department will participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 29th, 10 am-2 pm at the Snoqualmie Fire Station located at 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway.

This is an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted and unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Many Americans do not know the safest way to dispose of their unwanted or expired medicine, often causing safety and environmental hazards by flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the garbage.

The disposal of these drugs is free and anonymous, and includes a drive-through drop-off in the parking lot.

For year-round prescription drop-off, the Snoqualmie Police Department offers a drop-off box at the station Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, at 34825 SE Douglas Street.

Expired prescription and over the counter drugs can be disposed of at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 4/29/17
