ORIGINAL STORY

If you love holiday lights – whether it’s lighting up your own home or observing the hard work of all the ‘Clark Griswolds’ of the Snoqualmie Valley –  here’s your chance to admire some homes where the holiday spirit is alive and well.

The 4th annual City of Snoqualmie Holiday Lights contest is currently underway. Any resident, business, neighborhood or community organization located within Snoqualmie city limits was eligible to enter. Now that the contest entry deadline has passed, participants’ addresses have been made public for your viewing pleasure.

The entries will be evaluated based upon creativity, originality, thematic elements and overall design quality – not just the quantity of lights. An impartial panel will finish judging these homes Thursday, December 15, 2016.

Winning locations will be recognized in the Snoqualmie Valley Record and the SnoValley Star, along with the Snoqualmie Ridge ROA e-newsletter.  All winners will be presented with a certificate and a yard sign indicating their success.
