Sensory Friendly Train added to popular Day out with Thomas stop in Snoqualmie this Summer

There will be a brand new addition to the Day out with Thomas event this summer. The Northwest Train Museum, which hosts the annual Snoqualmie Valley Thomas the Tank Engine tour stop, is adding a Sensory Friendly Train on July 22nd at 9AM.

The Sensory Friendly train ride is reserved for families with special needs children who love Thomas but haven’t been able to participate due to the hustle and bustle associated with a full train.

According to the announcement, the Northwest Train Museum has been asked over the past few years if they could include this type of participation level to the popular event’s train schedule – and are very happy to offer the more comfortable train ride option this year.

Gates will open at 8AM for guests of the Sensory Friendly train to offer an earlier – and less crowded start – on the grounds, as well as earlier boarding.

Tickets for this inaugural train are limited to 200. There is still space available. For more info on the Sensory Friendly Day out with Thomas train and/or to purchase tickets email  Info@TrainMuseum.org
