Saturday Head-on Collision Closes Preston-Fall City Road

According to King County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant, Cindi West, KCSO deputies and emergency crews responded to a head-on collision late yesterday afternoon, December 29th, on Preston-Fall City road near the Preston soccer field complex.

Sergeant West confirmed a woman in her 40’s and a male child were traveling westbound on Preston-Fall city Road when their Ford Expedition SUV crossed the center line into the path of a Subaru traveling eastbound, causing a serious collision. The Subaru was driven by a man in his 20’s.

The man in the Subaru was taken to Harborview in serious condition.   The woman and her child were transported to Overlake Hospital with minor injuries. The child was in a car seat at the time of the accident.

West said, “Detectives are investigating and have not determined if alcohol or drugs were involved.”

Preston-Fall City Road was reopened around 8:45PM last night, December 29th.
