Police Respond to Silver Creek Neighborhood After Report of Shot Fired, Leads to Search for Suspect

SnoqualmiePolicePatchSnoqualmie Police Chief Steve McCulley stated via email that on Sunday, July 19, 2015  at approximately 10:30PM, Snoqualmie Police officers [serving North Bend] responded to a report of a suicidal adult male who had fired off a shot from a pistol in a residence shared with his parents near the Silver Creek neighborhood of North Bend.

Chief McCulley explained after the shooting, the man fled the home, possibly with a handgun. “Out of obvious concern for the surrounding neighbors, and out of concern for possible serious medical issues with the suspect, a perimeter was established, neighbors in the area were contacted and advised to stay indoors,” McCulley stated.

The Coalition of Small Police Agencies Special Operations Team was called to help located the suspect, who was located around 12:30AM in the backyard of his home.  He was then transported to the hospital and later booked into jail, according to Chief McCulley.
