Police: ‘implied’ armed robbery suspect of North Bend store still at large

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), on Friday, April 28, 2017 around 7:55PM, the General Store at Cascade Golf Course, at 14319 436th Ave. SE in North Bend, was robbed by a white male who implied he had a gun.

KCSO said the man ran off with an unknown amount of cash. A large search for the suspect then ensued, involving KCSO deputies, Snoqualmie Police officers, a K9 unit and a KCSO helicopter circling over the area.

North Bend residents reported officers searching the woods surrounding the golf course and store, stopping cars as they came down Cedar Falls Road, and seeing a deputy with rifle on the bridge over the river.

The search lasted for over an hour. As of Saturday evening, April 29th, KCSO Sergeant Cindi West said the suspect – described as a white male, between 6’2″ and 6’4″ tall – had not been located.

Anyone with information that could help police locate the suspect can call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
