Police Blotter | Peach thief; DUI times two; too loud, too late

“Sleeping Beauty” | Mitten Avenue, Snoqualmie

On August 27th around 6:05am, Snoqualmie Officers were dispatched to a suspicious blue truck parked on Mitten Avenue. Upon arriving, they noticed a man who appeared to be sleeping with several pieces of suspected drug paraphernalia littering the inside of the vehicle. The subject also had several pieces of what appeared to be someone else’s bank cards and identity. He was arrested and booked into Issaquah jail.

“Just Peachy” | Safeway, North Bend

On August 28th around 8:20pm, North Bend Officers were dispatched to Safeway for a report of a female subject possibly filling her purse with peaches and other items. The officer approached the subject and she said that she simply took the items out of her cart and was not shoplifting. The store manager confirmed that the items had not been paid for and the merchandise totaled over $140. The woman also had two active warrants, one of them for a previous theft. She was booked into Issaquah Jail.

“Not Your Change” | Community Car Wash, Snoqualmie

On August 28th around 9:00pm, Snoqualmie Officers doing nightly business checks observed a male subject possibly stealing change from the community car wash. The owner was called and confirmed that the subject was not an employee. The officer found suspected drug paraphernalia. The subject was booked into Issaquah jail for Malicious Mischief, Criminal Trespass, and Use of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also trespassed permanently from the business.

“Quiet Please” | SE Newton Street, Snoqualmie

On August 29th around 12:05am, Snoqualmie Officers were dispatched for a report of several subjects standing outside of an apartment talking loudly and playing loud music past the time the ordinance states. Officers arrived to find a man and two women who were breaking the ordinance in relation to noise. Each were issued a citation. The male subject had been issued a citation previously for the same violation.

Multiple Vehicle Collision | SE River ST & Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie

On August 30th around 8:00pm, Snoqualmie Officers were dispatched to a car crash that was blocking the roadway. The driver at fault was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was booked into Issaquah Jail.

“Keys Please” | Snoqualmie

On September 1st around 7pm, Snoqualmie Officers on patrol ran a license plate where the registered owner came back with a revoked driving status. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer noticed the smell of possible intoxicants. The female subject was transported to the Issaquah Jail, booked for suspected DUI, and issued a citation for driving on a revoked license.
