Man dies after car flips, lands in creek in Fall City Sunday night

Around 9PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019, Eastside Fire Firefighter crews responded to a fatal, one-vehicle accident in the Fall City area. Via Twitter Eastside Firefighters reported the vehicle had flipped and was upside down in a creek, with one person trapped inside.

King County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives also responded to the accident in the 1900 block of West Snoqualmie River Road SE. The vehicle was reportedly heading south on West Snoqualmie River Road when it hit the guardrail and went into the creek below.

KCSO said one male was deceased at the scene and two other occupants, who suffered minor injuries, managed to get out of vehicle that was stuck in about two feet of water. They were transported to local hospital.

West Snoqualmie River Road was closed for several hours so detectives could conduct the accident investigation.
