Heads Up! Low flying jet signals start of 15th Boeing Classic in Snoqualmie, August 23rd

This is your yearly reminder that a large Boeing jet will be flying LOW over the Snoqualmie Valley, signaling the start of the 15th annual Boeing Classic golf tournament, which is a PGA Champions Tour stop.

On Friday, August 23, 2019 at approximately 11:20AM, that Boeing jet will fly over the 18th Fairway and Club House of The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge (formerly TPC Snoqualmie Ridge). The first players tee off about five minutes later.

The big jet flies pretty low – going over the course at about 1,000 feet – and each year takes some residents by surprise…wondering what’s going on.

The Boeing Classic runs August 23rd – August 25th and usually draws hundreds of golf fans to the Snoqualmie Valley.

Tournament activities include Family Day on Saturday, August 24th, with children 14 and under accompanied by a paid adult receiving free admission. Sunday, August 25th is Military Appreciation Day, with free admission and parking for active, retired, and reserve military and their dependents with ID.
