Filming Activity Expected to Disrupt Traffic Near Mount Si, Snoqualmie Elementary, September 22nd

According to an announcement from the Snoqualmie Valley School District, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, scenes for a television show will be filmed near the intersection of Meadowbrook Way and SE Park Street in Snoqualmie – causing some traffic disruption to the area.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid routes that pass through this intersection, or be prepared for delays.

The film crew is working with the district’s Transportation Department to accommodate school bus routes – and  Snoqualmie Police and Snoqualmie City Works personnel will be on hand to help manage traffic in the area on Tuesday.

Suggested routes for parents, staff and students to reach MSHS and SES, Tuesday morning and afternoon:

  • To access Mount Si High School, students, staff and parents should approach the school via Highway 202/Railroad Avenue SW, turning onto Meadowbrook Way SE (rather than approaching from Park Street) to reach the main front parking lot. In addition, students and staff can access the back entrance and parking lot of the school along Schusman Ave SE.
  • To access Snoqualmie Elementary School, staff and families should approach the school from the south turning onto Boalch Avenue NW from Highway 202/Railroad Avenue SW. Boalch becomes SE Park Street as it passes the Mount Si Golf Course and Centennial Park, until it reaches the SES parking lot.
