Starting Monday, September 25, 2017, Snoqualmie Valley transit riders who use the Snoqualmie Community Shuttle Route will have more afternoon and evening options to travel to and from Issaquah and connecting transit routes.
Evening service for the Community Shuttle Route 628 schedule will start and end approximately one hour earlier, with its first trip to North Bend (originating in the Issaquah Highlands Park & Ride) starting at 4:06 p.m. and the last trip leaving Issaquah at 8:09 p.m.
Westbound trips, which provide direct express service from the North Bend Premium Outlets to the Issaquah Highlands Park & Ride, will also begin and end approximately one hour earlier, with the first afternoon trip leaving North Bend at 4:55 p.m. and the last trip leaving at 7:33 p.m.
Route 628 will also include the Preston Park and Ride during the morning and afternoon peak periods, providing an additional rider option.
These service changes, a collaboration between King County Metro, the Community Shuttle service provider, and the City of Snoqualmie, were put in place following community and rider feedback from recent surveys.
The Snoqualmie Community Shuttle Route 628 is part of Metro’s Community Connections program, which focuses on innovative and cost-efficient solutions in areas where regular fixed-route bus service isn’t the right fit.
