Business Goings: Snoqualmie Restaurant Closes its Doors

After 4 1/2 years in business in Snoqualmie, Mabel’s on the Ridge closed its restaurant doors Sunday, June 29, 2014.

Josh and Tawni Mabel opened Mabel’s in March 2010 after Mike’s Cascade Grill went out of business. At the time, the Mabel family called the Snoqualmie Valley home, but due to a relocation out of the area, the family was forced to close the restaurant.

Mabel’s on the Ridge, which primarily served traditional American comfort-type food, announced the closure on June 29th via its Facebook page.

Located on the busy corner of Center Blvd and Mayrand Lane, the restaurant space sits in one of the larger spots offered in the Snoqualmie Ridge retail or “Marketplace” area. That block, across from the Snoqualmie Ridge IGA Supermarket, was the second retail building strip developed on Snoqualmie Ridge back in 2003.

In the closure announcement, Mabel’s thanked all the staff, customers, friends, family and community members who helped create “memories to last a lifetime.”

According to another Snoqualmie Ridge business owner, a different restaurant will be taking Mabel’s spot, specializing in Latin Fusion food.

Good Luck Josh, Tawni and Family!
