Business Comings: UPS Store offers new shipping, mailing option for North Bend residents

North Bend residents tired of depending on the city’s one U.S. post office for mailing, package shipping and PO Box needs will soon have an alternative – a UPS Store close to home.

The UPS Store will soon be opening in Bartell Drugs-anchored Borgen Plaza –  at the corner of Bendigo Blvd and Park Street. The sign is up for the new store, to be located in the retail spot adjacent Destiny by Design and near Frankie’s Pizza. (It’s in the corner of retail plaza so might be easy to miss.)

There’s no opening date or operating hours posted at the store’s location yet, but according to online job postings for the North Bend branch, it should be opening by late January. Interior cabinetry and PO Boxes are installed so that timeline appears accurate.

According to its website, the UPS Store is the world’s biggest franchisor of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers. There are over 4,400 independently owned UPS stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Hours vary at each UPS store around the Eastside – most likely based on the needs of each community. The Snoqualmie Ridge location is only open until 6PM on weekdays, but the Issaquah Highlands location stays open until 6:30PM.
