Business Comings: Sub Culture Salon now open in Snoqualmie; Pineapple Life to open soon after months of construction

A couple of new businesses are opening in the Snoqualmie Ridge retail area on Center Blvd this July.

The first is Sub Culture Salon which opens Tuesday, July 3rd. The new salon is located in the spot formerly occupied by Copper Public House (before that it was Glass & Bottle Bistro).

The full service salon offers hair, skin and lash extension services for men and women. They’re open Tuesday – Friday, 9AM – 7PM and Saturday from 10AM – 5PM.

Visit the Sub Culture website for more information.

Back in November we told you about Pineapple Life, owned by longtime Snoqualmie Ridge residents Brandi and Brian Cohen, who were at work transforming the former Big Star Studio spot and ReMax Realty spaces into one, large 2,600 sq. ft. yoga and barre studio.

The transformation took longer than anticipated – originally they hoped to be open in spring – but it looks like a grand opening celebration date of July 28th has been set.

Pineapple Life will be hosting their grand opening event on July 28th at 1PM that includes complimentary classes, studio tours, bounce houses, face painting, henna tattoos, live entertainment and fashion show. The whole community is invited to attend.

Part of the remodel to create the studio included building a Himalayan salt wall with thousands of LED lights woven behind it and heating the restroom floors for cold Snoqualmie days.

In November Brandi said Pineapple Life planned to offer 14 classes per day, starting bright and early at 5:30AM and running through 8PM including a mix of different types of yoga – hot (infrared heat), Bikram, Restorative, power and sculpt.
