Blues Walk Hits the Streets of North Bend this Weekend, Legendary Drummer Louis Hayes Plays Boxley’s Thursday

It back… and it’s always FUN… as Boxley’s continues its tradition of bringing music to the Valley.

Organizers invite the community to join them on the streets of downtown North Bend this Saturday, September 26th, where from 6PM – midnight you can stroll from business to business and enjoy live blues music.

32 bands will be playing at 23 local venues – and just ONE ticket gives you access to all the festival acts, including some of the region’s best and award-winning blues musicians.  It’s always a fun night filled with great food, drinks and music – not to mention a lot neighbors and community members.

Tickets prices are: Adults: $25 in advance/$30 day of event, Youth Under 15: $12.50 in advance/$20 day of event.

Proceeds from the North Bend Blues walk benefit Boxley’s Music Fund which is dedicated to supporting support live music programs for performance and education within the Greater Snoqualmie Valley and beyond.

BUT… if you’re needing a little blues fix before the festival, Boxley’s has a special guest performing on Thursday, September 24th: legendary jazz drummer Louis Hayes, who’s played with some of the biggest names in jazz throughout the 50s and 60s, includinglouis hayes Horace Silver, Cannonball Adderley, Oscar Peterson, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins and more.

There are two sets – at 7:30PM & 8:45PM. The cover charge is $15 for Boxley Music Fund Members and $30 for Non-Members.  Reservations can be made online at www.boxleysplace.com/reservations
